Expect rain showers in parts of the South today —NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, February 16, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Dry and sunny conditions are expected over the region. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 12-16oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Abuja, Bida, Lafia, Ilorin, Jos and Kaduna will experience sunny and hazy conditions in good visibility. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 18 -22oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over the southern region. Coastal cities like Port Harcourt, Lagos, Yenagoa, Benin, Calabar, Eket and Warri will expects localised rain showers during the morning hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-26oC.
