Entry deadline extended for Loeries Special Awards, exciting prizes on offer

Deadline for this year’s Loeries Special Awards has been moved from May 31 to June 14 even as the organisers reaffirmed that exciting prizes await winners.

“The Loeries deadline has been extended to June 14, which means entrants still have a chance to win amazing prizes with the Loeries Special Awards,” said the organisers in a statement made available to News Express by e-mail.

Judging takes place during Loeries Creative Week in Cape Town, South Africa, from September 16 to 22 while winners will be announced on September 21 and 22 at The 35th Annual Loerie Awards.

“Loeries Creative Week,” said the organisers, “has become an annual creative hub where over 4,000 members of the brand communication industry not only meet and network, but are inspired and educated by the power of creative communication.”

“Entries in the Street Pole category, Integrated Campaign, Newspaper, Creative Use of Paper Award, and the Young Creatives Award; stand a chance to win overseas trips, iPads and free media space worth thousands of Rand,” the statement said.

It gave details of the prizes to include “a trip to Cannes, a trip to the New York Advertising Festival,” listing “more amazing prizes” that include “ADreach Street Pole Award, ADreach Integrated Campaign Award, Antalis Creative Use of Paper Award, The Times Newspaper Award, and Adams & Adams Young Creatives Award.”

Below is an invitation from the organisers: “Read through the list to see if your creative genius could win you a once in a lifetime prize.

“The overall winner of the ADreach Street Pole Award will automatically be entered into the outdoor category at the Cannes Lions Festival. In addition, the winner gets a trip for two to attend the event in Cannes. NOTE: Street-pole entries may have flighted on any street-pole media and the category is NOT restricted to ads that have only flighted on ADreach poles.
