NiMET predicts rain showers, clouds and thunderstorms for today

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, December 16, 2015:

COASTAL AREAS: Localised Rain Showers are expected to prevail over this region in the morning and afternoon/evening period.

INLAND AREAS: Cloudy conditions are expected during the morning hours over the inland of southwest leaving the inland of the South-East under localised thunderstorm while chances of localised thunderstorms are expected over the region in the afternoon/evening period.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the region with chances of localised rain over Taraba, Jigawa and its environs in the morning, while localised thunderstorms are expected over the region in the afternoon/evening period.

NORTHERN STATES: Prospect of thunderstorms are expected over the region in the morning, with chances of localised thunderstorms over the region in the afternoon/evening period.
