Popular Nigerian Comedian Ayo Makun, better known as AY, appears won over by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the 2023 election, Mr. Peter Obi. He has made public his belief that Obi “possesses vital and responsive energy to tackle the challenges plaguing the nation”.
He said the candidate has confirmed the said energy during when he interacted with him online.
AY made this known after his Instagram live session with the LP presidential flagbearer on Thursday, January 19, 2023.
The star actor, movie producer and comedian had sent out the open invitation via his social media handles, imploring the online community to tag the four major standard bearers and see if any honours the invitation.
He explained his objective was to engage the four major contenders for the number one position in Nigeria in an online interactive session for national interest.
Reacting to Obi’s mien during the live session, the actor stated: “Last night, Q & A with @PeterObi on the AY Show simply confirmed that he has vital & responsive energy.
“I personally loved the way he handled the questions on the live, viewed by millions of Nigerians around the world.
“I do hope d other candidates would honour my open invitation,” he wrote. (Adapted)
