Police raid armed robbers’ hideout in Port Harcourt

A team of police operatives of the Rivers State Police Command, acting on a tip-off, yesterday at about 04:00, raided a suspected armed robbers’ hid out situated along Ada George, Port Harcourt.

“The operation led to the arrest of three males suspected armed robbers namely Goodluck Worwu, Charles Wogu and Atochi Ezizie. Items recovered from them include one (2) two AK 47 rifles, one (1) K2 rifle, five (5) magazines, one hundred and thirty five (135) rounds of 7.62 live ammunition and assorted charms,” Police Public Relations Officer, DSP. Ahmad K. Muhammad, said.

He disclosed that the State Criminal Investigation Department is investigating the case.
