Registrar-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Corporate Affairs Commission CAC), Alhaji Garba Abubakar, has assured that the Commission would always commit itself to global best practices in delivering services to its clients and the public.
Abubakar gave the assurance in Lagos when he visited the pavilion of the Commission during the just concluded 62nd Annual General Conference (AGC) of the Nigerian Bar Association.
He solicited the continued support of the public, especially prospective and potential customers of the Commission to the reforms it has initiated and assured them of his determination to ensure that the CAC operates in line with global best practices.
He used the forum to commend the of CAC Technical team headed by his Technical Assistant, Mohammed Abdullahi, for their efforts in working assiduously to respond to customers inquiries, as well as resolve challenges.
The CAC Registrar-General who was accompanied to the CAC Pavilion by Duke Ukaga, Director, Public Affairs; Abdulkadir Modibbo, Assistant Director/Head Kaduna Office; Francis Amadi, Assistant Director/ Head Ibadan Office and Olumide Ologe, PM Compliance, interacted with numerous Customers.
He also used the period of the AGC to pay a solidarity visit to the newly elected NBA President-Elect, Y.C Maikyau, (SAN) before his inauguration last Friday, August 26, 2022, and prayed God to grant him wisdom and strength to handle his new assignment.
About 13, 000 delegates attended the 2022 NBA AGC themed “Bold Transitions” held from August 19 -26, 2022 at the Eko Atlantic and Eko Hotel and Suites
In a message to the occasion, the outgoing NBA President, Olumide A. Akpata, said the conference represents a novel platform for knowledge exchange on the continent as it brings together, world leaders, political icons, judges, leading lawyers, leaders of thought, policy makers, business icons and civil society.
The gathering, he said, was to discuss and produce an implementation plan to foster the adoption of policies, standards and practices leading to socio-political stability, economic growth, sustainable and infrastructural development for accelerated regional and economic integration.
Panelists were drawn from United Nations agencies; key experts; civil society and State representatives while no less than 116 resource persons were billed speak at the event.
CAC News reports that 20 Staff of the Commission, including the Registrar-General attended the 2022 NBA AGC.
