The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Thursday, October 8, 2015:


Coastal Areas: Localised rains are expected over the entire coast in the morning, while prospect of rains are expected to prevail over the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.

Inland Areas: Localised thunderstorms are expected over the entire region in the morning, while Chances of localised thunderstorms are expected to prevail over the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.

Central States: Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect areas around Lokoja, Abuja, Jos, Lafia, Ibi and Makurdi axis in the morning with cloudy conditions in some areas of the central state. Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.

NORTHERN STATES: Localised thunderstorms are expected to prevail over the northeast and Yelwa axis, while cloudy conditions are expected over the northwest in the morning hours. Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.
