The Kwara State Police Command has arrested a man accused of selling fake police recruitment forms to unsuspecting members of the public.

Parading the suspect, the State Commissioner of Police, Esosa Amadesu, said that the suspect was arrested when a team of detectives swooped on him at a cybercafé along Murtala Muhammad Way, Ilorin.

He noted that the suspect, Isah Ade, had displayed a signpost advertising the sale of the Police recruitment forms, adding that in the course of the searching, the detectives recovered four printed fake Police recruitment forms, one laptop and other documents.

The Police boss warned members of the public not to fall prey to fake recruitment syndicates, adding that the Police would inform the people when they are ready to recruit. (Channels TV)
