“We have inspected some of the projects, we are here in Bishop Michael Okoro flyovers being constructed and we have seen the work on ground. We were around the day the ground breaking was done few months ago and the level of work that is going on here and the pace at which the work is going is commendable.
“I commend the Governor very highly, one for always meeting up with time in all his projects. Sometimes, he will even say that he will complete his projects within maybe 12 months and you will see the projects completed in less than six months.
“This significance of this twin flyover are enormous. One, it is going to reduce traffic, it is also a face lift to the state because as a developing state, the project of this nature has a lot to do in uplifting the state and it will boost the economy of the state.
“Over time, a lot of lives have been lost in that Hausa quarters junction that the Bishop Okoro flyover is being constructed and with the construction of the flyover, you can be rest assured that the issue of road crashes at this point is going to be a thing of the past as soon as it is completed.
“So, we commend the Governor for his vision, we commend him for doing what is right which will actually uplift the future and the entire people of the state now and in the near future.”
