Today’s weather outlook, By the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET)

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, September 20, 2015:

SOUTHERN STATES COASTAL AREAS: Cloudy conditions are expected in the morning hours while localised showers are expected over the region during the afternoon/evening hours.”

INLAND AREAS: Cloudy conditions are expected in the morning hours over the region while afternoon/evening hours hold prospects of localised thunderstorm.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of thunderstorms over Abuja, Jos Makurdi, Bauchi, Yola and Jalingo during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over the eastern/southern part of the region and thunderstorm over the northwestern part during the afternoon/evening hours.

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the northwest and thunderstorm over the northeastern region in the morning hours. Partly cloudy conditions are expected over the extreme Northwest.
