Governor Masari removes Police officer

Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari, has removed the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Kankara Local Government Area of the state.‎

Governor Masari made this known to Channels Television on Monday after a closed door meeting with all security operatives in the state.

He made the decision after the head of vigilante group in the local government was killed by unknown gunmen.

The governor added that further meetings would be held to ascertain how to protect lives and property in the state. (Channels TV)
