Senator Dickson condoles with Murray-Bruce family over death of matriarch

The Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, last Friday, commiserated with Senator Ben Murray-Bruce and the entire Murray-Bruce family over the death of their mother, Mrs. Margaret Murray-Bruce.

The matriarch of Murray-Bruce family died February 1, this year at the age of 95 and her remains were interred last Thursday.

During the condolence visit to the Lagos home of the Murray-Bruce family, Senator Dickson said having lost his own mother, he totally understood the feelings associated with accepting the finality of the departure of a parent, especially a mother.

He noted that Mama Margaret was a pillar in the family who lived a great life and raised successful children and grandchildren who have made Bayelsa and the Ijaw nation proud, lamenting that she would be truly missed by all.

Condoling with the entire Murray-Bruce family, Senator Dickson prayed God to grant the soul of Mrs. Margaret Murray-Bruce eternal repose and the family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
