The Chief Imam of Military Cantonment, Minna, Colonel Musa Buhari, has called on Muslim faithful to always fear Almighty Allah in their daily affairs.
He made the call on Friday during a Special Juma’at Service to commemorate this year’s Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
The Chief Imam also reminded Muslim faithful of the need for them to pray for their leaders at all times.
The Islamic Scholar prayed for the souls of the fallen heroes “and may Almighty Allah grant their families the strength and the comfort to bear the painful loss.”
In his message, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello enjoined Nigerians to continue to pray for the unity, progress and peace of the country.
The Governor, represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Ahmad Matane, stressed the need for the sacrifices made by the military to be appreciated.
He hailed the efforts of the military in tackling the security challenges in the country, calling on Nigerians to pray for the soldiers who had paid the supreme sacrifice by giving their lives in the defence of this great nation.
