Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and frontline governorship aspirant in Niger State, Rt Honourable Mohammed Sani Kutigi, has appealed for more divine supplications from the people of the state to curb the activities of bandits, kidnappers and other criminals “whose intention is to wipe out the state.”
Kutigi in his 2021 Christmas Message released on Sunday expressed worry over “the unabated security challenges bedevilling Niger State”.
He urged Christians in the state “to use the holy season to pray against the new ugly development”, while reassuring them that another political chapter for the people of the state will wipe away the current situation.
The former federal lawmaker used the occasion to commiserate with the people of the state over the current precarious security situation, describing it as evidence of bad leadership.
He appealed to Christians not to be daunted with the current development, urging them to celebrate with one another, the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The PDP chieftain wished the people a happy celebration and a brighter future.
