11 suspected cultists arrested in Anambra

Eleven suspected cultists were yesterday arrested by a joint team of Isuanocha and Urum vigilante operatives during initiation rite at Otoko village by Eke Agba in Isuanaocha, Awka North Local Government area of Anambra

Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) of the state command, Mr. Ali Chukwuma said the officer in-charge of anti-cult unit in the command is already investigating the incident.

Chairman, Awka North Local Government Council, Mr. Cosmas Okonkwo, advised youths to embrace education and to be committed to Christ so as not to fall victims of such evil activity.
