Anambra Media Summit Awards shifted to October 3

Organisers of the Anambra Media Excellence Awards, Association of Digital Media Advocates (ADMCA), has announced the shift in date of the AMEA Awards.

The award ceremony, which was earlier scheduled to hold on October 1, 2021 in Awka will be recognising 10 media personalities in the state.

The personalities include News Express Star Correspondent, Pamela Eboh, Joy Odinye of Channels, veteran broadcaster, Roy Ekwunife among others.

A statement on Wednesday by the National President of ADMCA, Dr Harris Chuma-Odili, said: “The organizers of the Anambra Media Excellence Awards wish to officially inform the general public, supporters and fans of AMEA about the unavoidable shift in date of the AMEA Awards ceremony previously fixed to take place on Friday, October 1. 

“Consequently, the Anambra Media Excellence Awards gala will now take place on Sunday, October 3, 2021. The event venue remains Calton Hotel, Awka, at 3pm prompt.”

Dr Chuma-Odili regretted any inconveniences the shift in date may have caused anyone.
