The management of the Nigeria Police yesterday washed its hands off “fake recruitment adverts being run by some criminally minded persons, who are out to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.”

“For the avoidance of doubt, there is no recruitment going on at the moment in the Nigeria Police Force,” said Force Public Relations Officer, CP Emmanuel C. S. Ojukwu.

He warned members of the public “not to be deceived or to fall prey to mischief makers.”
