Beautiful Nubia performs in Ibadan today

Popular singer, songwriter and poet, Segun Akinlolu a.k.a. Beautiful Nubia, would be staging a live performance today at Nustreams Conference and Culture Centre, Ibadan.

The three-hour event holding 3-6pm at Iyaganku Road, off Alalubosa GRA, will feature readings, performances and conversations with the renowned folk-singer.

Beautiful Nubia, according to the organisers, will read and share performances from his works and discuss the creative process, literature and music, as well as social issues confronting Nigeria and Nigerians today.

“There will also be readings and book signing sessions by Seun Odukoya, author of the debut fiction, Saving Dapo, and Gabriel Bamgbose, author of the debut poetry collection, Something Happened After the Rain,” a statement by the organisers said.

It added that the event would also feature Servio Gbadamosi, Adegoke Mark and Femi Morgan, the brains Behind WriteHouse Collectives, who are the organisers of the event.
