Boko Haram terrorists have devised a new method with which to perpetrate their evil agenda, Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, has disclosed.

The new method, he said, involves giving bags containing Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) to unsuspecting people, especially children and youths, to dispose, keep, drop or give to someone else.

In a security alert late Sunday on his Facebook wall, Col. Usman wrote: “Given the propensity of suicide bombings and determined efforts of Boko Haram terrorists to kill more people and destroy properties, by all means possible, it is important to please warn everyone, especially kids, younger ones, students not to collect any bag of any type from anybody to dispose, keep, drop or to give to anyone.

“This is the latest method used by terrorists in using innocent children as suicide bombers. Some parents in Zaria, Kaduna State, confirmed this and same method was used in Adamawa State by them where 2 kids were asked to drop a black polythene bag at a mechanic workshop for N2, 500.00k. These terrorists are devilish and desperate. Please share to save lives.”
