A Chinese father found his son after he was kidnapped by smugglers when he was two years old in front of the family home in Shandong Province, in 1997, 24 years ago.
And the newspaper "Daily Mail" indicated that the Chinese child was kidnapped by smugglers for the purpose of selling him for money, prompting his father, Goh Gang Tang, 51, to travel 310,000 miles around China over the past two decades, in an attempt to find him.
While the police tracked the child using a DNA test, and were able to find him as a young man, the family was finally reunited yesterday, in emotional scenes.
And the "Daily Mail" pointed out that the father traveled to more than 20 provinces throughout China on a motorcycle, following the news of the kidnapped over the past 24 years, and during the search, he suffered broken bones, various accidents, and even encountered highway thieves, as The father carried pictures of his young son to banners attached to his motorcycles, ten of which were damaged during his mission, spent his savings on fishing, slept under bridges, and helped seven other fathers reunite them with their kidnapped children.
"Now that I have found my son, everything will be happy from now on," the father said, according to Russia Today.
According to local reports, the son graduated from university and is now working as a teacher.
