Nigeria’s foremost kid star, Oziomachukwu Favour Mojekwu, professionally known as Ozzy Bosco shortened to OzzyBee, has opened and funded bank Savings Account for children between the ages of 2 and 17 to launch Season 1 of his pet project tagged “OzzyBee Young Savers Scheme” (OYSS).

According to the 14-year-old performing star who began his professional music career at the very early age of 4, the aim of this initiative is to imbibe early savings culture in children who are the leaders of tomorrow.

During the formal launch of the project recently in Lagos, various schools converged on Moshood Abiola International School, Ikeja, powered by OzzyBosco Smile Foundation (OSF) and supported by Access Bank Plc whose officials were on ground, opening accounts for some excited children.

It was fun galore as guests had enough to eat and drink as they also took home a beautiful customised bag each.

It was a mixture of philanthropy and entertainment when OzzyBee and children dazzled the excited audience, which had the representative of the Lagos State Commissioner for Education and others, with his evergreen tracks.

Also present were Dr Tee Mac Isele (MFR), Prince Ifeanyi Dike, the principal of Babcock University Schools Ogba, amongst others.

According to the ace Master of Ceremony of the event, Comedian KoffiThaGuru, “If you missed season 1, then watch out for subsequent Seasons as OYSS team has bigger plans loading nationwide.”

The UNESCO Child Advocate awardee OzzyBee says: “Catch them young, so when they grow, they will not depart from it”.
