There are interesting developments between the United States of America (USA) and Nigeria in respect of John F. Kennedy (JFK) and John Kayode Fayemi (JKF), Barack Obama and Abiola Ajimobi, as well as Bill Clinton and Olusegun Obasanjo a.k.a OBJ.
JFK and JKF are both Catholics. Both attended three different universities: JFK Harvard, Princeton and London School of Economics; JKF, University of Lagos, University of Ife, and Kings College London.
JFK fought in the World War II while JKF is a Ph.D holder in War Studies. JFK was into civil rights and JKF into human rights.
JKF assumed office on October 15, 2010 – the 48th anniversary of the most important event in the JFK administration, the Cuban Missile crisis when the world stood on the precipice of a nuclear war. JFK was President of the USA and JKF Governor of Ekiti State.
Barack Obama and Abiola Ajimobi
Obama and Ajimobi were both fathered by Muslims and both served as senators. Obama is from Chicago, capital of mid-west America, third largest city of the USA, home of a famous skyscraper, founded in the 19th century. Ajimobi is from Ibadan, political capital of south-west Nigeria, third largest city of Nigeria, home of Nigeria’s first skyscraper, also founded in the 19th century.
Obama and Ajimobi are both associated with a citizenship controversy. Obama is President of the USA and Ajimobi, Governor of Oyo State.
Bill Clinton and Olusegun Obasanjo (Not my original but by an anonymous writer)
Clinton and Obasanjo are both Baptists and both served as President for eight years – Clinton of the USA and Obasanjo of Nigeria.
Clinton and Obasanjo were both born on a Tuesday.
Clinton has a seven-letter name starting with W and ending with m. That name is William. Obasanjo has a seven-letter name starting with M and ending with W. That name is Matthew.
