Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshomole, has re-affirmed his decision to partner with the Nigeria Police Force in the area of logistics.
This re-assurance came yesterday when the governor visited the Inspector General of Police, (IGP) Solomon Arase, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The governor further saluted IGP Arase’s giant strides since assumption of office and maintained that the impact of the IGP’s wealth of professional competency is being felt in Edo state, as a result of his intervention in the security situation in the state, and that citizens from across the nation have starting feeling the benefit of IGP Arase-led NPF.
In his response, Arase reassured the good people of Edo and the country at large of his commitment to advance security in Nigeria and that he would ensure that policemen exhibit the highest ethical standards in the performance of their duties.
