The convoy of the Kaduna State governor, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, was yesterday afternoon involved in a minor accident, a few metres away from the Government House in the state capital.

Eyewitnesses said the accident occurred 2:35 p.m. in front of the 44 Army Reference Hospital as the governor headed for the State Secretariat to address civil servants.
The accident involved one of the motorcycle outriders.

“The governor alighted from his car and ordered that the rider be taken to the hospital for treatment,” News Express was told.

Sources say the rider was rushed to the 44 Army Reference Hospital while his motorcycle was returned to the Government House.
