Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has led a South East delegation to the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhri in Abuja to appeal for his intervention in considering the region for the position of a Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives.
Okorocha said that such appointment would give the region more voice in the incoming administration.
Other members of the delegation also believe that party members from the South-East need to be part of decision makers of the incoming administration.
