Popular America-born Nigerian singer, songwriter and music producer, David Adedeji Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has set a new record in Nigeria’s music industry.
The 28-year-old Afrobeats, Dancehall crooner who fondly refers to himself as Omo Baba Olowo (OBO), Monday evening (yesterday) achieved a whopping 100 million streams within three days for his new album titled “A Better Time” which contains the hit song “Fem”.
The father of three girls from three different women with Chioma Roland as his live-in-lover, could not hide his joy when he dashed to his Instagram page to announce this all time achievement.
“100 million streams in 3 days! From Apple Music, Boomplay, YouTube, Spotify & Audiomack. Other DSPs to report later today (Monday). Let’s keep streaming ABT. God bless everyone,” he said.
Surely, better times ahead for this restless musical act with Osun blood running in his veins.
