"The Oil & Gas Year" zeroes in on Nigeria, launching today in Abuja

Nigeria takes the global oil and gas spotlight today as the The Oil & Gas Year (TOGY) launches a Nigerian Edition today in the country’s capital, Abuja.

is an exclusive series of yearly reports featuring country-by-country interviews with the key stakeholders of the international energy industry, in-depth articles, analyses and resources. It is regarded as the Who’s Who of the global energy industry.

The Oil & Gas Year, Nigeria 2012 is to be officially launched at the Kano room of the Transcorp Hilton at 17:00, according to a statement signed by Event Coordinator Sibel Zengin, who disclosed that it is produced by Wildcat International in partnership with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board and the Department of Petroleum Resources, with content partners Afrik Delta Marine and ABB.

“The launch and awards presentation features keynote speakers NCDMB Executive Secretary Ernest Nwapa and DPR Director Augustine Olorunsola, and Wildcat International will present awards to the most outstanding individuals and companies in the Nigerian energy industry,” Zengin said in the statement sent by e-mail to News Express.
