A pan-African student’s movement, the Progressive Students Movement (PSM), has urged eateries to adhere strictly with Federal and State Government as well as NCDC guidelines.

The President of PSM, Mr. Bestman Okereafor, who gave the advice in a statement issued on Wednesday in Enugu, also urged them to provide affordable meals for the common man in order to cushion the effect of COVID-I9 pandemic on Nigerians.

According to him, eateries should be in the vanguard of saving lives through the provision of hygienic meals and provision of Job employments to our youths.

He said: “PSM have carefully studied the activities of some eateries especially Mega Chicken and can simply give kudos to the management led by Chief Nimbe Ayenuyo for the perfect customer service, affordable and quality service.

“Their basic strict adherence to the laid down guidelines of the Federal and State governments as well as NCDC guidelines is commendable.

“As progressive-minded compatriots, we implore all eateries in the country and beyond to emulate Mega Chicken.

“We are advising the public to shun the bring him down syndrome as it’s not in any way helping the country rather we should all endeavour to support those directly impacting the lives of Nigerians.”
