An international youth pressure group, Ego Kristi Youth Movement International (EKYMI), has elected executives to pilot her affairs for the next three years.
A statement by signed by the General Publicity Secretary, Amb Ezeilo Franklin, disclosed that during the election at Awka, the Anambra State capital, the Central Executive led by the Founder/General Leader, Luke Ositadimma Iloghalu, “charged the new executives and her media team to see themselves as focal point to engage government at various levels in their respective areas in order to galvanise, mobilise and equip the teeming unemployed youths with highly sophisticated enablement like agricultural scheme and other small-scale businesses to further curb the devastating effect of COVID-19 menace and reduce youth restiveness, crime and criminality in the local areas.”
A subsidiary of Young International/African Leaders Assembly (YILA/YALA), EKYMI specialises in organising seminars, symposia, skill acquisition Training Programmes for our youths and also provide employment opportunities to our youths, in line with the conducive atmosphere created by the Anambra State Government “led by the youth-friendly Governor Willie Obiano for youth active participation in politics.”
The Anambra chapter of EKYMI is registered with the state Ministry of Youth and Sports, and her activities duly monitored and supervised by the Ministry for proper orientation, youth employment and empowerment.
