A-list Nigerian actor, James Ikechukwu Esomugha, popularly known as Jim Iyke, has revealed the various ways he has adopted to enjoy himself silly on a daily basis.
He calls it “The Snoop Dog Self-Appreciation Ideology”.
The 44 years old Enugu Agidi, Anambra State indigene who was born in Libreville, Gabon made a lengthy post two days back on his Instagram page to make the revelation. Call it the epistle of Jim Iyke, and you won’t be wrong.
According to the controversial actor and Philosophy graduate from the University of Jos, one way to get maximum self enjoyment is, “Dress to murder. Take yourself to somewhere lavish and exotic. Indulge in the finest culinary and explore your acquired tastes. No wives, kids, baes, families and friends. Just you!”
As if that’s not enough, he proffers other ways to enjoy one’s self based on his personal experience.
“A trip to somewhere serene and decadent and just immerse in the naturals. Read fictional and real literal empowerment devout. Dispense with the social junkie gadgets to the minimum. Listen and ingest the tranquility. Immerse yourself in the highest vibration of your creative elements. Keep a pen and jotter close at all times; that spark of inspiration in inevitable!
“Take yourself on shopping sprees. Painstakingly and studiously select every item that compliments your style propensity. It’s a different kind of fulfilment. An unsung realm of personal pleasure in my prism. 15% of biz and financial decisions you make must benefit only you oba long term. Make the pursuit of wellness a habit; grooming, fitness, health enhancement routines,” he said.
The rest of the epistle by the father of one (a son) who also holds a black belt in taekwondo reads,
“I believe proffering the best version of you to anyone, be it your kids, wives, buddies, girlfriends, associates etc inexorably stems from the level of frequency one vibrates in the appreciation of self.
“The inclusivity of openness, generosity, tolerance, sacrifice, realization of potentials reside within the space of that realm. It's imperative to understand that it’s a 2-way street.
“Your significant other must be encouraged without bias or prejudice to explore this conversation often, if not more. You will both find common grounds and purpose that befit both parties as a singular and plural on your journey without the often recalcitrant notion of one half lagging in the vision of duality.
“The playing field must be without ultra motives, moral compromises and manipulations. An honest quest for truer, deeper, stronger version of self.
“Just live your best life and only then can you offer the best life to those you're responsible for in your niche.
