Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known by his stage name Wizkid, is either pursuing something or something is pursuing him.
How else does one explain the panic mode which the 29 year-old star boy has switched into since the beginning of this week.
In the first instance, the Lagos State singer who was born into a polygamous family (his father, a Muslim married three wives, his mother a Christian) at the beginning of the week deleted all his posts from his Instagram handle with a whopping 8.2 million followers, perhaps so as not to be traced.
Secondly, close sources say Wizkid who started singing in the church choir at the tender age of 11 under the group name, “Glorious Five” before his big break in 2019 after his collabo with M.I, scarcely picks calls these days and sleeps outside his home most nights.
All efforts made by Maggie’s Blog to reach the multiple award-winning singer and performer during the week failed as his telephone line remained either switched off or unreacheable most of the time.
The question on the lips of his well wishers is, who is after Wizkid?
For the records, Wizkid is one of the richest Nigerian artistes of today with a net worth estimate of US14m dollars (about N5 billion)
Apart from making lots of money from several endorsements and the many choice automobiles in his garage, the multi-talented founder of Starboy Entertainment Company is a proud owner of two massive and expensive mansions, one in Lekki Lagos and the other in Los Angeles, USA.
The question remains, who is after Wizkid?
