Afro Hollywood Awards 2011 Best Actress Halima Abubakar has decided to take up from where Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State stopped concerning legalising what is commonly called Indian Hemp.
Recall that the white bearded governor recently talked about commercial cultivation of 'Igbo' in his state.
As if she is calling out the governor of The Sunshine State on a challenge, the 35-year old Kogi State born movie star and graduate of Bayero University is staging a one-man show in Abuja tagged, “Legalising Marijuana – the Nigerian Situation”.
Halima’s ‘protest’ is in form of a stakeholders’ conference under the auspices of Vanguard Against Drug Abuse in partnership with some corporate bodies including Universal Gaskiya Pharmacy, Vision Scope and Daily Trust Newspaper.
Want to join the Halima versus Rotimi war? All you need do is be at NAF Conference Center in the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday, June 26 by 2pm.
