Even though they wouldn’t want to own up, many people who reside in Lagos today, came by night bus.

This was the in-thing those days when the major means of transportation was by the famous luxurious buses, and these commercial buses reigned only at night, such that in the early hours of the morning, you’d just find yourself “landing” in the former federal capital city via this “night flight”.

Our brothers and sisters from the South-East and South-South can readily remember this means of transportation to Lagos in those good old days before the “busybody” Road Safety Corps dissuaded people from the whole idea of night bus to the Centre of Excellence.

But one man has decided to bring back the sweet (and at times very bitter) memories of the night bus saga in motion pictures.

The man popularly known as Mr Prolific, Chico Ejiro, is the director of the movie titled Night Bus To Lagos, while his wife, Joy, is producer.

The flick is scheduled to hit the cinema nationwide on May 3. It parades veteran actors such as Pete Edochie, Rachael Oniga, Paul Obazele, Oma Wonder and Lisa Omorodion, among others.
