Nigeria’s number one celebrity hang out, the Niteshift Coliseum, was agog on Sunday, January 27, as celebrities converged to give a rousing reception to the Lagos State gubernatorial candidate for All Progressives Congress (APC)  in the forthcoming general elections, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

Tagged the Grand House Reception (GHR), the evening event commenced with a red carpet courtyard gathering anchored by veteran comedian, Okey Bakassi. It later flew into an inside gig spiced with musical performances by the Niteshift Band.

The interactive session of the well-attended programme presented an opportunity to the special guest of honour – the governorship candidate, who attended with his wife – a retinue of political associates and aides, to reel out his plans to turn Lagos State around if elected governor in the forthcoming general elections.

In his welcome speech earlier, the proprietor of Niteshift Coliseum and chief host of the event, Ken Calebs Olumese, re-enacted the commitment of his outfit to accord first class reception to deserving citizens, a feat he said commenced in 1992 till date.

High point of the evening was when the governorship candidate was admitted into the Platinum Sector of the Coliseum.
