They are playing true to their name: PARTY DECEIVING PEOPLE. More so, as they are face-to-face with defeat at the 14 February Elections.

They have been dishing out lies, lies and more lies hoping to deceive Nigerians. They are working to the Joseph Goebbels’s script: keep telling lies and they shall be believed as the truth.

Foul.

Thankfully, steadfast Nigerians have caught them out in their repulsive game.

The latest in their campaign of calumny against the APC Presidential Candidate General Muhammadu Buhari was the malicious, indecent and off ensive documentary containing loads of lies.

As we set the records straight in the following table, we must reiterate our stance that that the Jonathan administration has continued to do everything to cause disaff ection among Nigerians along religious, ethnic and regional lines.

This repugnant documentary is also a deliberate attempt to mislead the younger generation by rewriting our nation’s history for the selfish reasons of re-electing a drowning president. Nigerians are not deceived. They know that the election is about insecurity, unemployment, collapsing infrastructure, the fast-collapsing economy, etc.

Like other Nigerians, we hope that the National Broadcasting Commission will not play the ostrich on this
documentary.

 THE LIE  THE TRUTH
General Buhari introduced Religious Fundamentalism to Nigeria when Maitatsine sect unleashed violence on Yola during his regime. General Buhari actually promptly stamped out the Maitatsine sect when as Head of State, he used the Armed Forces to checkmate the Maitatsine sect and stopped its activities unlike the Jonathan Government that allowed the Boko Haram crisis to fester and spread to the entire North-East and its environs.
General Buhari was mentioned as beneficiary of a missing N2.8 billion Oil money when he was Minister of Petroleum Resources. The alleged missing N2.8bn oil money was investigated by the Justice Ayo Irikefe Panel in 1980 and no one made any allegation against Gen. Buhari. In any case, the Panel concluded that no such money was lost. Gen. Buhari remains one Nigerian that was a State Governor, Petroleum Minister, and Head of State without ANY stain of corruption.
General Buhari’s regime protected Governor Awwal Ibrahim of Niger State from being prosecuted when he was arrested with 14million pounds and several millions of Naira in a suit case atHeathrow Airport, London, United Kingdom. Nothing like that ever happened. It was only in the corruptimagination of the Jonathan campaigners that it is possible to carry a whopping “14 Million Pounds and several millions of Naira” in a suitcase.
Gen. Buhari imprisoned only Southerners and Christians while Northerners and Muslim politicians were left untouched. the death of Fela’s mother. The Lie: Chief Bisi Onabanjo, a former Governor of Ogun State, died “shortly after release from prison” under General Muhammadu Buhari. The Truth: Chief Onabanjo died on April 14, 1990 – five years after his release – during illness. Five years is “not shortly” after release. Gen. Buhari never convicted politicians. Duly constituted tribunals did. And they included Northerners, Southerners, Muslims and Christians that were brought before the tribunals. They included the late Alhaji Sabo Bakin Zuwo; Alh. Bello Maitama Yusuf, late Alhaji Adamu Attah among others, – all Northerners, all Muslims. Among those detained were Northern Muslims like Alhaji Ibraim Gusau, Dr.Olusola Saraki, Dr. Jibrin Tahir, Alh. Bamanga Tukur. They also included the governors of his home state of old Kaduna, Alhaji Abubakar Rimi and Alhaji Lawal Kaita.
Gloria Okon, the celebrated drug courier, disappeared in detention under General Buhari. Gloria Okon was duly arrested for drug pushing under Gen.Buhari. Her “disappearance” or “death” became an issue in a regime after General Buhari’s ouster.
The Kalakuta Republic of Musician Fela Anikulapo Kuti was burnt and his mother, Madam Funmilayo Kuti, killed by the General Muhammadu Buhari govt Kalakuta Republic was burnt in 1978, six years before Gen.Buhari came to power on December 31st, 1983. Neither Gen. Buhari nor his administration had anything to do with neither the burning of Kalakuta Republic nor the death of Fela’s mother.
Chief Sam Mbakwe, a former Governor of Imo State “died prematurely” shortly after release from prison under General Muhammadu Buhari. The Truth: Chief Mbakwe died at the age of 75 in 2004 – 19 years after release from prison. Age 75 is “premature” and 19 years after an illness. The Lie: There was massive corruption in the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) under General Muhammadu Buhari. Former President Obasanjo who set up a panel to investigate the PTF in 1999 and against whom Gen. Buhari contested in2003, has pronounced that the probe panel did not find any case of corruption in PTF under Gen. Buhari (See The Punch and The Sun newspapers, 14 January 2015).
General Buhari seized the Passport of Chief MKO Abiola, winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential Election. The government of Gen. Buhari never seized the passportof Chief MKO Abiola. Abiola’s passport was seized after the June 12,1993 election, eight years after Gen Buhari had left office.
Gen. Buhari sentenced the first woman to firing squad in Nigeria. Gen. Buhari never convicted any one. Anti-corruption cases were handled by tribunals that were headed by High Court Judges
The fraud of Group Captain Usman Jibril’s picture. The picture of Group Captain Usman Jibril in the documentary is a fraud. The picture is that of the current Chief of Naval Staff and not that of the late Group Captain Usman Jibril.Another evidence of the despicable antics of a party that engages in death-wishes for Nigerians.
Gen. Buhari waged war against Students’ unionism as depicted with the footage of Segun Okeowo as leader of National Union ofNigerian Students (NUNS) in the documentary. Segun Okeowo was President of National Union of Nigerian Students in 1978. The footage in the documentary is that of “Ali MustGo” riots when Nigerian students demanded the removal of Col.Ahmadu Ali, now the D-G of the Goodluck Jonathan Presidential Campaign Council, as Minister of Education, for the withdrawal of food subsidy in tertiary institution.
Former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Shehu Kangiwa, was one of those killed by Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.  Former Governor of Sokoto, Shehu Kangiwa died in an accident at a Polo game in 1982, almost two years before Gen. Buhari became Head of State.
