The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has set up a Special Committee to screen all serving members of the National Assembly aspiring to re-contest in the 2015 National Assembly election on the party’s platform.

A statement issued late yesterday in Abuja by PDP National Publicity Secretary Olisa Metuh said the screening would start when the House of Representatives resumes “in Abuja on Thursday, November 20th in the afternoon and Friday, November 21, 2014.”

“All such members of the National Assembly are by this advised to appear before the Special Screening panel at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja with their relevant documents for the screening on the above-mentioned dates,” Metuh added.
