The National Deputy Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Chuks Ibegbu has lambasted Presidential Spokesman Femi Adeshina for tagging the recently concluded “Handshake across the Niger” meeting in Enugu as a spurious exercise

Ibegbu wondered how Adesina came to “this annoying conclusion over a programme that was very welcomed and highly successful.”

“It was either that Adesina was out for a mischief or he was not well informed on the purpose  of the event attended by leaders of the entire South, Middle Belt and even some progressives from the core North,” Ibegbu said in a statement on Saturday.

He advised President Mohammadu Buhari “to rein in Femi Adesina over some of his embarrassing outbursts.”
