Buhari summons emergency security meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday night summoned an emergency meeting with the leadership of the National Assembly “over the security situation in Benue State and other parts of the country,” according to Channels TV.

The meeting was ongoing at the Presidential Villa in Abuja as at 10pm last night, the report stated.

It disclosed that the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Yakubu Dogara were in attendance.
