Sunny, hazy weather likely today, says NiMet

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for Friday, January 13, 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze conditions are anticipated over Kano, Kastina, Maiduguri, Nguru and Damaturu, while northwest is expected to experience hazy conditions throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 27 - 32℃ and 7 - 19℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy is not unlikely over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 - 36℃ and 14 - 23℃ respectively, except over Jos where 27℃/10℃ day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: This region is expected to experience mist/fog conditions during the morning hours. Later into the day, some parts of the region are anticipated to experience hazy conditions, while cloudy conditions over southwest coast and partly cloudy conditions over the southeast coast during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 - 34℃ and 17 - 23℃ respectively.
