President Muhammadu Buhari earlier today presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), held inside the Conference Room of the Office of the Wife of the President at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The President had, at the same venue, earlier this morning inaugurated the three-member Audit Committee on Recoveries Made by Federal Government Agencies, a report this afternoon by Daily Trust said.

The paper had earlier reported that all official activities for today would take place at the conference room of the office of the wife of the president.

It quoted the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, as saying that there were “technical challenges” the Council Chambers.
