Prince Tonye Princewill, a stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and one-time governorship candidate of the defunct Action Congress (AC) in the 2007 elections in Rivers State, has declared that he won’t get involved in any political tussle against President Goodluck Jonathan, especially, according to him, “if I think that fight is not good enough.”

He made this declaration during a Rhythm 93.7 FM Port Harcourt current affairs, news, interview and phone-in progragramme dubbed “Viewpoint” where he talked on a lot of state, regional and national issues.

Princewill used the opportunity offered by the progragramme to explain that he has not fallen out with Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi because he (Amaechi) no longer gives him contracts.

His words: “No, I won’t use the word ‘fallen out’, there is a disagreement; a very fundamental disagreement. But, you know, I still consider him as a friend. Our communication is not like it used to be but I am not going to say that because we disagree on a political issue that everything is lost; no, it is not. I just simply refused to fight Goodluck Jonathan.  I am not going to be part of that.”
