Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday evening met with the Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The closed-door meeting is believed to be in connection with the recent clash between soldiers and members of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) in the state.

The Vice President had earlier on Tuesday met with the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris.

The Police chief left the Presidential Villa without speaking to journalists.
