The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Thursday, June 29, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over this region during the morning hours with chances of thunderstorm over Kano, Nguru, Maiduguri Gusau and Dutse in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 40℃ and 26 – 29℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over most parts of the region with prospects of thunderstorms over Yola, Jalingo, Mambila plateau Gombe and Ibi during the morning hours. However, there are prospects of thunderstorms over Abuja, Jos, Lokoja, Lafia, Mambila plateau, Jalingo and Minna during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 26 – 35℃ and 18 – 24℃ respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected to prevail over the inland cities in the morning hours with chances of thunderstorms during the afternoon /evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 35℃ and 21 – 23℃ respectively.
