Veteran journalist Walter Uba is dead

Kaduna-based veteran journalist, Walter Uba, is dead.

A former Kaduna Bureau Chief of VANGUARD Newspapers, Walter Uba was with Lawmaker Magazine as at the time of his death.

Family sources said he died around 9am today in his residence in Malali Low Cost, Kaduna, after a protracted illness.

Mr. Uba was recently discharged from a hospital over an ailment he had been battling with.

He died at the age of 70 and is survived by his wife and five children.
