Weatherman says it will be sunny and hot up North today, with thunderstorms and cloudy weather elsewhere

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, April 18, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny conditions are expected over the region throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 40℃ and 23 – 29℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy morning is anticipated over the region with prospects of localised thundery activities over Abuja, Lafia and Makurdi later in the day. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 39℃ and 20 – 25℃ respectively, except over Jos where 30oC and 18℃ day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: The region is expected to be cloudy in the morning. Later in the day, places like Ijebu-Ode, Benin, Awka, Benin, Warri, Yenagoa, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Eket and Enugu could experience localised thunderstorms. The Day and Night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 32 – 36℃ and 21 – 25℃.
