The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, March 21, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: This region is anticipated to be under moderate dust haze, with horizontal visibility range of 2 – 5km throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 37 – 41℃and 15 – 27℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES:  Partly cloudy condition is expected with chances of localised thunderstorms over the high grounds of Abuja, Lokoja, Lafia and Makurdi during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 40℃ and 16 – 28℃ respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: The inland and coastal cities are expected to be under cloudy conditions in the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over the region during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 40℃ and 23 – 26℃ respectively.
