A fire outbreak on Thursday destroyed the warehouse of MTN, a leading mobile telecommunication  operator in the country.

A report by Independent said that the inferno may have been triggered by faulty wiring of the warehouse located around Acme Road in Ogba, Lagos.

It quoted an eyewitness as saying that “the fire, which began about midday, burnt down parts of the roof of the warehouse.”

Fire fighters and police were said to have rushed to the place to put out the fire, even as source said MTN have lost fortunes to the incident.
