It is now very clear to all that Tukur Mamu of the Fuza Communication Services Ltd is a person of questionable integrity and no one should wish to associate with such a man that takes pride in untruth, misrepresentation, concoction, irresponsibility and impersonating others. Since we discovered the true colour of Tukur Mamu and his moribund company that refers to black as white, we have been in the forefront in exposing his treachery, and particularly unraveling their criminal activities against the FCT Administration.

In a letter dated 9th July, 2013 to the NUJ, blackmailer Tukur Mamu claimed that the NUJ doesn’t have the powers to investigate him or recommend to the police his prosecution based on their phantom and one-sided investigation. Is Mamu Tukur bigger than constituted authority or the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?

The Minister of FCT, Senator Bala Mohammed’s decision not to bribe the Desert Herald Publisher and boldness to petition the Nigerian Union of Journlaists (NUJ) was a right step as the NUJ Committee set up to investigate Mamu Tukur has indicted on him on his demand for N15 million bribe from the Minister of FCT through the SA Media to the Minister.

Mamu Tukur has been blacklisted by the NUJ, Nigerian Press Council (NPC), Protection Rights of Journalists in Africa (PRJA) and Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN).

It is highly condemnable and despicable of Tukur Mamu and his hypocritical newspaper team to blackmail the transformation agenda of the FCT Administration. This is not the first time such blatant gross misconduct has been exhibited by these ungodly elements in the media through the character assassination of the FCT Minister to satisfy their vaulting and inordinate ambition. However, their cowardly and defeatist act and will never deter the laudable position we have always taken to propagate the truth about the great contribution of Bala Mohammed Administration, knowing full well that conscience as an open wound, it is only the truth that can heal it.

In view of the foregoing, we wish to state that the contents of the yet-to-be-published “FCT Administration: The rot within” is adulterated, mischievous and jumbled up by Mamu and his allies to satisfy their chronic but diabolic interest. Therefore, we urge the good people of FCT to ignore the advertorial of the books “FCT Administration: The rot within” By Fuza Communication Services Limited.
