The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for Saturday, June 11, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Thunderstorms are expected over Maiduguri, Kano, Dutse, Zaria, Potiskum, Damaturu, Gombe and Bauchi have during the afternoon/ evening thunderstorms. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 36- 39oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over this region with chances of Localised thunderstorms over Abuja, Minna, Lafia, Makurdi and Mambila axis during the morning hours. Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect the Eastern parts of the region during the afternoon/evening period. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 30-34oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: There are prospects of morning rainfall over Lagos, Benin, Port Harcourt, Eket, Calabar, Yenagoa and Uyo. Localised thunderstorms are anticipated over the region later in the afternoon/evening period. Day time temperatures are likely to be in the range of 29-33oC.
