The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Monday, June 6, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Thunderstorms over Sokoto, Kebbi axis are likely in the Morning. Potiskum, Damaturu, Nguru have high prospect of evening thunderstorms. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 36- within 39oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Morning cloudy conditions are expected over this region with chances of thunderstorms around Jos, Kaduna, Mambila Plateau and their surroundings. Afternoon/evening localised thunderstorms will affect parts of Abuja, Makurdi, Lafia, Lokoja and Jos. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 29-34oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: There are prospects of morning rainfall over Lagos, Port Harcourt, Eket, Calabar, Owerri and Uyo. Localised thunderstorm is expected over some of the cities in the region later in the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 30-33oC.
